On Tuesday, the King and Queen of Sweden headed to Uppsala for an important ecclesiastical event—and brought along a gorgeous gem-set butterfly brooch!

King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia arrived in Uppsala on Tuesday ahead of the opening of the General Synod of the Church of Sweden. Ahead of the opening, the royal couple attended a church service at Uppsala Cathedral, the seat of the primate of the Church of Sweden.

For the service, Queen Silvia wore autumnal jewel tones. Her fuchsia-colored coat, which comes from the brand Georg et Arend, has been in her closet for several years. She added contrasting black accessories—hat, gloves, bag, and shoes—to the ensemble as well.

Silvia’s jewelry for the occasion included diamond, pearl, and ruby earrings, a torsade necklace strung with multicolored pearls, and a gorgeous gem-set butterfly brooch.

We’ve seen her wear the butterfly brooch for several events this year. In May, she wore the diamond, emerald, and ruby brooch at Windsor Castle for a special tree planting ceremony.

And in July, the brooch was pinned to the lapel of her white tweed jacket as she joined the King and the King and Queen of Denmark in celebrating the 25th anniversary of the Öresund Bridge that links the two nations.

Here’s one more look at Silvia wearing the brooch in Uppsala on Tuesday. She also wore, as usual, stacks of bracelets on both wrists, including the colorful beaded bracelets that are sold to raise funds for her charity, the World Childhood Foundation. She wore rings on both hands, too: a gold and diamond ring on her right hand and a diamond and ruby ring stacked with her wedding ring and a diamond band on her left.
