Sparkling Royal Jewels From Around the World
The biggest tiara event of the year to date took place this evening in Stockholm, with a fabulous array of brilliant royal tiaras and jewels on display to celebrate the 80th birthday of the King of Sweden.
It’s a very big royal day in Sweden: King Carl XVI Gustaf is celebrating his 80th birthday, and royal family and friends from around the world have descended on Stockholm for the celebrations.
The King and Queen of Sweden headed to Poland for a state visit this week, and Queen Silvia brought along the family’s fabulous pink topaz suite to wear for a state banquet on the first evening of the visit.
