On Monday, the Belgian royal family joined in the National Day celebrations in Brussels, with the royal ladies wearing multiple looks (and jewels!) for the occasion.

Next year’s Royal Collection Trust exhibition at the King’s Gallery, Buckingham Palace has officially been announced, and it’s a doozy: a landmark display of clothing, jewelry, and accessories worn by Queen Elizabeth II, in celebration of the centenary of her birth.

Today is National Day in Belgium, a patriotic celebration commemorating the start of the reign of the first King of the Belgians almost two centuries ago. We’re joining in the festivities today with a look at the small but magnificent collection of tiaras worn by the Queens and Princesses of Belgium, including jewels that have endured for a century and new additions to the royal collection.
