Sparkling Royal Jewels From Around the World
It’s time for our second (!) royal-royal state banquet of the week, everybody! The King and Queen of Spain are visiting their Dutch counterparts, and we were treated to five remarkable royal tiaras during tonight’s state banquet in Amsterdam.
The next few weeks are going to bring us a true bounty of fabulous royal gala jewels, including an exciting first state banquet appearance from the future Queen of the Netherlands. This week, we learned that the visiting monarch, King Felipe VI of Spain, has given Princess Amalia a new decoration ahead of the banquet next Wednesday.
The Queen of Spain wore a special family brooch as she and the King joined family members on Monday at a somber memorial service in honor of one of his late cousins.
