Sparkling Royal Jewels From Around the World
There’s officially a new Grand Duke and Grand Duchess in Luxembourg! On Friday, Grand Duke Henri abdicated in favor of his son, Grand Duke Guillaume, with plenty of sparkling royal jewels on hand to witness the moment.
This week, the United Nations celebrated a special milestone: the 80th anniversary of its founding in 1945. For this week’s opening session, royals from around the world gathered in New York, including three jewel-wearing European queens (and a bonus princess!).
Parliament season continued in Europe this morning, with King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima leading a jeweled parade of Dutch royalty on Prinsjesdag in The Hague.
