March is quickly flying away, but before it goes, let’s chat about royal aquamarines one more time. Today, I’m highlighting a glittering aquamarine appearance from the Queen back in March 2009.

All week, we’ve been paying tribute to the incredible royal jewels of Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, who died twenty years ago yesterday. Today, we’re covering some of the royal necklaces she wore—and which are still being worn by royal ladies in Britain today.

Twenty years ago today, Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother passed away at the age of 101. We’re celebrating her jewelry legacy all week, and today, we’ve got a closer look at several pairs of her earrings still being worn by royal ladies today.

Our second post on the jewels worn for the Duke of Edinburgh’s memorial service, held today at Westminster Abbey in London, covers the pieces worn by foreign royals and family members in attendance. Today, the British royal family gathered with royal relatives and guests from across the world to celebrate the life of the late Duke of Edinburgh at Westminster Abbey. We’re going to devote a pair of posts to the jewels worn at today’s thanksgiving service, starting with the jewels worn by the British royals for the event.
