Only three weeks to go now until Coronation Day! Our series on the coronation jewels worn by queens regnant and consort continues today with a look at the splendid sparkle selected by Queen Mary in 1911.

The Jewel House at the Tower of London is going to be looking a bit sparse for the moment, as we’ve learned that nearly all of the traditional coronation regalia will indeed be used for the upcoming coronation.
