Sparkling Royal Jewels From Around the World
Earlier this week, we were treated to royal tiaras in Oslo during a state visit from the President of Tanzania. Here’s a look at the lovely jewels we saw on the Norwegian royal ladies for the welcome ceremony and state banquet on Tuesday.
Today, Princess Astrid, the sister of the King of Norway, celebrates her remarkable 92nd birthday. Astrid remains an active part of the Norwegian royal family, attending gala dinners and sporting fabulous tiaras—all of which have links to her bejeweled royal ancestors from generations past.
Last week, the Norwegian royals gathered at the Royal Palace in Oslo to host a gala dinner for representatives of the Storting, and there were three sparkling tiaras on display!
