Today, the Queen of Norway celebrates her birthday. To mark the occasion, I’ve got a fascinating survey of the tiaras that she has worn since marrying into the royal family in the 1960s, from the grandest diadems to petite jewels and modern tiaras.

Three generations of the Norwegian royal family wore tiaras on Monday to celebrate the visiting President of France during a gala dinner at the Royal Palace in Oslo.

On Saturday, the royal family of Norway joined in the celebrations of the Seventeenth of May, wearing heirloom jewels on the palace balcony for the annual children’s parade in Oslo.
