The Qatari state visit to Britain has officially begun, with the Princess of Wales paying a jewelry tribute to the late Queen Elizabeth II as she helped to welcome the royal couple to London.

Tonight, King Charles III and Queen Camilla will host a sparkling state banquet at Buckingham Palace for the Emir of Qatar. As we anticipate the gala jewelry we’ll see at the event, I think it’s fair to say that we might get a glimpse of one of the suites presented to the late Queen by one of the previous Qatari rulers.
