Sparkling Royal Jewels From Around the World
How about a little Friday bonus, magpies? The British royals held the second Buckingham Palace garden party of the season today, with several pieces of significant royal jewelry sparkling on the Windsor ladies.
Last week, I covered a whopping nineteen tiaras worn for the King of Sweden’s big 80th birthday dinner in Stockholm. But there were more tiaras sprinkled around the room, including four interesting sparklers worn by Bernadotte family members.
Yesterday, King Charles III and Queen Camilla hosted the first Buckingham Palace garden party of the year, with plenty of royal jewels on display for the occasion.
This week, the Netherlands marked days of remembrance and celebration, with Queen Máxima wearing a gorgeous pearl to honor the memory of victims of war—and bringing out festive tortoiseshell jewels to celebrate liberation.
