There were royal tiaras galore at Buckingham Palace tonight, including two sparkling debuts—one almost a century in the making!

The South Korean state visit to the United Kingdom officially began this morning, with both the Queen and the Princess of Wales wearing sparkling diamonds and sapphires for the occasion.

On Wednesday, the Princess of Wales headed to the Design Museum in London for an important meeting connected to one of her personal causes—and wore sapphires that belonged to her late mother-in-law for the occasion.

King Charles and Queen Camilla weren’t the only ones wearing fabulous royal jewels during last week’s State Opening of Parliament. Several peeresses also donned tiaras, and today, we’ve got a closer look at one of the sparkliest of them all: the Duchess of Wellington’s Diamond Tiara.
