The second round of Nobel tiaras came out in Stockholm last night when the King of Sweden hosted a dinner for this year’s Nobel laureates, with Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria, and Princess Madeleine all wearing fabulous antique diadems.

December has been a month of terrific tiara moments so far, and today we added to that glittering tally with a quartet of royal tiaras on display for the Nobel Prize presentations in Stockholm.

Last week, the King and Queen of Sweden headed to Canada for a state visit, with Queen Silvia bringing along some fascinating modern gala jewelry for a pair of black-tie dinners.

On Tuesday, the King and Queen of Sweden headed to Uppsala for an important ecclesiastical event—and brought along a gorgeous gem-set butterfly brooch!
