Our sparkling spotlight focus on the tiaras of Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother wraps up today with a rare outing from the original setting of one of her favorite diamond tiaras.

The British royal family’s beloved diamond fringe tiara, made for Queen Mary and worn by three royal brides, was owned and worn for many years by Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother. Today, we’ve got a closer look at one of her appearances in the tiara, which took place in December 1948.
