Sparkling Royal Jewels From Around the World
It’s time for our second (!) royal-royal state banquet of the week, everybody! The King and Queen of Spain are visiting their Dutch counterparts, and we were treated to five remarkable royal tiaras during tonight’s state banquet in Amsterdam.
On Thursday, the Dutch royals headed to Middelburg for an awards ceremony, bringing along some splendid pearls, diamonds, and sapphires for the occasion.
The next few weeks are going to bring us a true bounty of fabulous royal gala jewels, including an exciting first state banquet appearance from the future Queen of the Netherlands. This week, we learned that the visiting monarch, King Felipe VI of Spain, has given Princess Amalia a new decoration ahead of the banquet next Wednesday.
