Today, the people of Monaco celebrate the principality’s National Day. In honor of the holiday, we’re taking a look at some of the royal jewels from the collection of the late Princess Grace that are now being worn by her descendants.

On Thursday, the Prince and Princess of Monaco were in New York for the Princess Grace Awards—and the debut of a sparkling necklace featuring a diamond named for the late icon.

Red and white are the colors of the principality of Monaco, so it should come as no surprise that one of their most famous residents, Princess Grace, wore a whole lot of jewels set with rubies and diamonds.
