This year’s postponed Bal de Rose, Monaco’s annual glittering fundraiser for the Princess Grace Foundation, finally took place in the principality on Friday. The ’20s theme of the event brought out plenty of Art Deco-era sparkle!

While the Brits were cheering at Royal Ascot and lots of European royals were descending on Oslo, the Grimaldis were busy with one of the principality’s annual entertainment events: the 61st Monte Carlo Television Festival. Princess Charlene, who continues to recover from a difficult year, was on hand to sparkle in major diamonds at the opening ceremony.

The eyes of the world were on Monaco this weekend, where the annual Formula 1 Grand Prix race was held on the winding streets of the principality. The Grimaldis were out in force for the festivities, including Princess Charlene, who wore two pairs of dazzling earrings for the weekend’s events.

There was good news out of Monaco this weekend: Princess Charlene, who has been recovering in a Swiss clinic, has made major progress, so much so that she’s been able to return to her family in the principality.
