Forty years ago today, the eyes of the world were on Lady Diana Spencer as she walked up the aisle of St. Paul’s Cathedral to marry the Prince of Wales. Today, we’re marking the anniversary by looking back at the wedding jewels worn by Diana, as well as her mother, her sisters, and her nieces.
Monaco is home to some of the most interesting princes and princesses in Europe—including several royals who no longer have thrones. One of these, Camilla of Bourbon-Two Sicilies, frequently attends Monegasque events in sparkling jewels. For the princely wedding in 2011, she wore a dazzling diamond and ruby tiara on the opera terraces.
