Sparkling Royal Jewels From Around the World
Over the past two weeks, the King and Queen of the Netherlands and the Princess of Orange have been on an extensive visit to the Dutch Caribbean Islands of Aruba, Curaçao, Sint Maarten, Bonaire, Sint Eustatius and Saba. We’ve got a huge roundup today of some of the fascinating jewels worn by Máxima and Amalia during the trip—a mix of antique royal jewels and fun new pieces perfect for a day in the Caribbean.
One of the coolest aspects of the recent Platinum Jubilee tiara exhibition at Sotheby’s was the ability to see the jewels from lots of different angles, showing off the way that the tiaras are constructed.
