The Dutch royals paused their annual summer holidays in Greece this weekend to jet back for the Dutch Grand Prix, and both Queen Máxima and Princess Alexia wore big jewelry pieces for their day at the races.
King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima were accompanied by their second daughter, Princess Alexia, as they arrived for the F1 Dutch Grand Prix at the Zandvoort Circuit in on Saturday. The royals watched as Britain’s Lando Norris won the race.
The King wore a business suit and tie for the event, but both Queen Máxima and Princess Alexia chose more summery ensembles for the day. Máxima’s blouse and skirt, per Josine Droogendijk, come from (you guessed it!) Natan. Alexia, meanwhile, opted for a black strapless jumpsuit and a golden belt.
Máxima wore a pearly pair of floral statement earrings for the Grand Prix: the Camelia Pearl Earrings from the brand Gripoix. The pair has been in Máxima’s collection for at least two years.
Here’s a closer look at the earrings, which have Gripoix’s signature twisted metal detailing along the edges of each of the “pearls,” which are actually glass cabochons.
As usual, Máxima also stacked bracelets on both wrists: two delicate gold chain bracelets worn together on her left, and a stack including her diamond family initial bracelet and her diamond and sapphire evil eye bangle on her right.
Alexia accessorized with an interesting pair of statement earrings that appear to be wooden with gold leaf detailing. She also layered a pair of necklaces: a diamond smiley face that has been in her personal collection for some time, and a diamond and sapphire evil eye that appears to match her mother’s bracelet.
