The British royal family gathered in Windsor to celebrate Easter on Sunday, with the Queen and the Princess of Wales both wearing jewels from the collection of the late Queen Elizabeth II.

King Charles III and Queen Camilla led the royal family group in attendance at Easter matins at St. George’s Chapel, Windsor on Sunday, with Camilla wearing a red and black ensemble for the occasion.

Several more members of the extended royal family joined them for the service, including the Prince and Princess of Wales with Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis; the Princess Royal and Sir Timothy Laurence; the Duke of Edinburgh and the Earl of Wessex; Lady Sarah and Daniel Chatto; and Peter Phillips with his fiancée, Harriet Sperling, plus his daughters, Savannah and Isla, and her daughter, Georgina.

With her red coat and hat, Queen Camilla wore a favorite pair of diamond floral clip earrings with pearl drop pendants, plus a diamond cross brooch from the collection of the late Queen Elizabeth II. The jewel, which Buckingham Palace calls the “Raspberry Pip Brooch,” may have originally belonged to the Queen Mum’s mother, the Countess of Strathmore.

Princess Catherine wore classic diamonds and pearls with her cream-colored ensemble for the Easter service. She paired the late Queen’s Bahrain Pearl Drop Earrings with the diamond cross necklace that we saw her wear recently for the enthronement of the Archbishop of Canterbury. Her famous sapphire and diamond engagement ring sparkled on her left hand.

Princess Anne wore turquoise tweed for the occasion, paired with classic pearl drop earrings and her gold and diamond ribbon brooch, which has been in her collection for decades.

Anne’s future daughter-in-law, Harriet Sperling, matched her pearls to the white polka dots on her blue dress. Peter and Harriet recently announced that they will be married on June 6 at All Saints Church Kemble in Cirencester.

And last but very much not least, Lady Sarah Chatto, daughter of the late Princess Margaret, joined her cousins for the Easter Sunday celebrations in Windsor. She wore blue for the service, matched with several pieces of jewelry that belonged to her mother. The diamond sunburst earrings were a staple in Margaret’s jewelry wardrobe from the 1950s onward. The sapphire and diamond brooch has an even more impressive history: it was one of Queen Mary’s wedding gifts to the future Queen Elizabeth in 1923. Sarah also wore an intriguing sapphire and diamond bracelet on her left wrist.
