Sparkling Royal Jewels From Around the World

This weekend, a fantastic exhibit of jewels and objets d’art by Fabergé opened at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London—and thanks to a press preview, we’ve got a peek inside!

Last week, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge made a glamorous appearance at the Royal Variety Performance in London. But while Kate sparkled beautifully in a green sequinned gown and gold earrings, many of us always long for the days when this was a tiara occasion! This week, our Sparkling Spotlight posts will look back at glittering Royal Variety tiaras from decades past, starting with the jewels from the coronation year of 1937.

Most royal weddings in Europe take place in the balmy, warm months of summer. But not all of them! Today, we’re looking at three British princesses who were married during the month of November, and the glittering jewels they wore as they walked down the aisle.
