Sparkling Royal Jewels From Around the World
This month, Princess Madeleine of Sweden celebrated her 40th birthday. To mark the milestone, we’re devoting our Sparkling Spotlight posts this week to some of her most sparkling tiara moments, starting with a dazzling Nobel appearance in 2005.
While the Brits were cheering at Royal Ascot and lots of European royals were descending on Oslo, the Grimaldis were busy with one of the principality’s annual entertainment events: the 61st Monte Carlo Television Festival. Princess Charlene, who continues to recover from a difficult year, was on hand to sparkle in major diamonds at the opening ceremony.
It was a Queen-less Royal Ascot this year for the first time in her reign, but members of the royal family were still on hand to enjoy the fun at the last two days of the races.
