While the Queen’s ongoing mobility issues have meant that she won’t be appearing at any of today’s Platinum Jubilee events, the rest of the royal family was out and about in public, attending the Epsom Derby and making special national visits.

On Friday morning, the British royal family gathered for a national service of thanksgiving for the Queen’s reign at St. Paul’s Cathedral in London, followed by a luncheon at the Guildhall.

This evening, the royal family coordinated ceremonies in Windsor and London to kick off the lighting of Platinum Jubilee Beacons across the nation and the Commonwealth—and we got a brand-new brooch debut in the process!
