Today is Canada Day, but the celebrations of the day actually began last week in Britain, when the Princess Royal wore a maple leaf brooch for a special commemoration in Hampshire.
Today, King Charles III became the second monarch to deliver a speech from the throne during the Opening of Parliament in Canada, and Queen Camilla joined him wearing the bejeweled badge of a Canadian Armed Forces regiment.
King Charles III and Queen Camilla arrived in Ottawa on Monday for the start of the first visit to Canada of his reign, with a special royal diamond maple leaf accompanying them on the journey.
