Sparkling Royal Jewels From Around the World
Queen Maxima of the Netherlands is one of the most exuberant royals in Europe, and she favors statement jewelry pieces as big as her personality. Some of her favorite fun and festive earrings feature a tassel design, and today we’re highlighting two pairs: one set with garnets and diamonds, and the other set with diamonds, rubies, and pearls.
On Saturday, the world marked the 140th anniversary of the birth of Princess Margaret of Connaught, the ancestor of many of today’s Scandinavian royals. To celebrate, we’re dedicating this week’s Sparkling Spotlight posts to some of her grandest jewels, which are still being worn by her royal descendants today.
