Queen Máxima was out and about in The Hague last week, wearing seasonal colors and a snake-inspired jewel for a special meeting at the Museon-Omniversum.

The Queen delivered remarks on Wednesday during a special session, “From Breakthroughs to Lasting Change,” that celebrated the tenth anniversary of Schuldenlab070. The organization, a social innovation lab headquartered in The Hague, works toward a goal of basic security—”an existence with sufficient and predictable income, affordable and sustainable housing, access to education and healthcare, and a buffer for unexpected expenses”—for all. Wednesday’s meeting was organized in cooperation with Financially Healthy Netherlands Foundation. Queen Máxima is the foundation’s honorary chair.

For the meeting session, Máxima wore an autumnal ensemble in a dark berry shade. The dress, per UFO No More, comes from (you guessed it!) Natan. She added a coordinating clutch bag and shoes. Josine Droogendijk reminds us that Máxima wore the dress with a large picture hat during her last appearance in the design. This time around, she wore it with a ’60s-inspired pillbox hat.

Máxima continued the color theme with her earrings, wearing a pair of large button-style studs encrusted in wine-colored beads.

Here’s another view from Wednesday that shows the individual beads a bit better. They appear to be set in a grid-like pattern.

As usual, Máxima also wore bracelets on both wrists and rings on both hands. Here’s a good look at one of her favorite bracelets, which features cabochon gemstones set in gold, on her right wrist. The bracelet is engraved with the names of her husband and daughters.

Máxima wore her engagement and wedding rings on her left hand, and on her right, she added a snake-shaped ring that’s been in her collection for some time. The playful ring, which features dark red enamel detailing, has been in her collection since at least 2019. Leave it to Máx to bring out one of her signature creepy-crawly jewels during Halloween week!
