The Grand Duke and Grand Duchess of Luxembourg made an official visit to greet their French neighbors last week, with Grand Duchess Stéphanie making a bold state with her colorful dress and modern pearls.

Grand Duke Guillaume V and Grand Duchess Stéphanie were received at the Élysée Palace in Paris on July 1 by President Emmanuel Macron and his wife, Brigitte. The two nations share a border. More than 30,000 French nationals reside in the grand duchy, and more than 100,000 cross the border each day to work in Luxembourg.

This particular diplomatic visit was a special one: the latest in a series of official visits to introduce the new Grand Duke and Grand Duchess to his fellow heads-of-state following his accession to the throne in October 2025.

For the occasion, Grand Duchess Stéphanie wore a bold dress (from Natan, per UFO No More) in a vibrant, saturated shade of coral-orange. The dress features a gathered detail at the shoulder with a gold buckle ornament.

Stéphanie also wore other pieces of yellow gold jewelry with the ensemble, including a pair of very modern pear-shaped pearl drop earrings.

Here’s a closer look at the earrings, which feature pear-shaped pearls set with gold trumpet caps. It’s easy to see the instrumental reference here: the caps definitely look like the sleek bell of a trumpet.

Stéphanie also wore rings on both hands. On her right, she wore the diamond engagement ring presented to her by Guillaume back in 2012. And on her left, she stacked her gold wedding band with a lovely gold and diamond Chaumet ring that has been in her personal collection for several years.
