The Princess of Monaco has been bringing out more and more fabulous jewels in recent weeks, including this pair of glamorous diamond and black pearl earrings from Cartier.

On May 22, Princess Charlene was the guest of honor at the Women@APCE group working breakfast of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. The Monaco Tribune shares more about the group and its mission: “Founded in 2022, this non-political, cross-party network brings together the approximately 250 women members of the Parliamentary Assembly to bring a female perspective to bear on issues within the Council of Europe’s mandate.”

Princess Charlene spoke during the breakfast, emphasizing the power and importance of sport for women and highlighting some of the crucial work being accomplished by her charity. She explained that her foundation “teaches children to swim, raises awareness of water safety and trains people in lifesaving techniques.” She added, “Water must remain a place of joy, not of pain.”

For the occasion, Charlene dressed smartly in a white trouser suit. Per UFO No More, both the jacket and the matching trousers come from Armani, which has long been one of the princess’s favorite design houses.

She wore minimal but impactful jewelry for the event as well, including her diamond engagement ring and a pair of sparkling earrings from Cartier.

These are the Himalia Diamond and Pearl Earrings from the firm, which feature diamond-set studs and Tahitian black pearl drops. Cartier produced the Himalia collection in the 2000s which means—deep breath—some of the pieces would now be considered vintage.

Charlene has had her pair of Himalia earrings in her jewelry box for several years. Notable appearances include the family’s Christmas Card in 2020 and this outing on the eve of the feast of Sainte Dévote a few weeks later.

Charlene also recently wore the earrings for a high-profile diplomatic moment in Monaco, pairing them with an Emilia Wickstead coat dress to welcome the President of Portugal to the Prince’s Palace for an official visit.
