Recently we’ve been focused on gleaming royal earrings, and today we’re adding to our collection with a closer look at a festive pair of green earrings worn by Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden.

On August 28th, the Crown Princess of Sweden arrived at Berwaldhallen, a concert hall in Stockholm, for the opening of the Baltic Sea Festival, a series of classical music concerts. She was greeted on the red carpet by Cilla Benkö, the CEO of Sveriges Radio, which coordinates and airs the annual festival.

For the opening of the festival, Crown Princess Victoria wore an appropriately festive summer ensemble. UFO No More reports that her emerald green dress comes from Saloni.

Victoria echoed the vivid green hue of the dress with her choice of earrings for the occasion: a pair featuring three round green agates set in a long pendant configuration.

The earrings come from the Swedish brand Ebba Brahe Jewellery. Founded in 2013, the brand is the brainchild of Charlotte Ramel, a jewelry designer who also happens to be a descendant of the real Ebba Brahe, the famous Swedish courtier who was a lover of King Gustaf II Adolf of Sweden. The Bernadotte ladies have worn several pieces of Ramel’s jewelry, including these green agate earrings and a pair of moonstone jewels recently worn by Victoria in Visby.

The green agate earrings have been in Victoria’s jewelry box since at least 2018. Above, she makes an early appearance in the earrings during the Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award ceremony in Stockholm in May of that year.

For last week’s appearance at Berwaldhallen, Victoria also wore bracelets on both wrists—a gold bangle from Edblad and the silver-toned bracelet she’s worn often in recent months—and her engagement and wedding rings.
