On Tuesday, the Swedish royal family hosted a group of very special guests during a reception at the Royal Palace in Stockholm, and Queen Silvia, Crown Princess Victoria, and Princess Madeleine dressed up for the occasion.
The Queen of Sweden hosted a reception for war-wounded Ukranian children at the Royal Palace in Stockholm on Tuesday. She was joined at the event by her daughters, Crown Princess Victoria and Princess Madeleine.
The tables at the reception were decorated with bright arrangements of sunflowers, Ukraine’s national flower. Many of the guests wore traditional Ukrainian clothing. One young lady presented Queen Silvia with a lovely painting.
For the occasion, Silvia dressed in bright colors, choosing a pink dress and a tweed jacket from her wardrobe archives. Her necklace, per UFO No More, comes from the brand In2Design.
Silvia also wore coordinating pearl earrings. She added more sparkle with a big floral brooch pinned to her jacket as well.
She also wore rings on both fingers and bracelets on both wrists. As always, Silvia’s beaded Childhood Bracelet was in its usual place on her right wrist. She stacked the bracelet with a slim diamond bangle and a gold Cartier Love Bracelet. The stack on her left wrist included a diamond knot bracelet.
Crown Princess Victoria wore neutrals for the reception, including a safari-style jacket and a pleated skirt. Her jewels included gold link earrings, a gold heart necklace, and a textured gold cuff bracelet. She also added a pin featuring the flags of Sweden and Ukraine to her lapel.
Fresh off her big Vogue Scandinavia cover, Princess Madeleine opted for a classic white shirt for the reception, paired with delicate diamond hoop earrings and a necklace with tiny diamond drops.
