The fast and the furious descended on Monte Carlo this weekend for the annual Monaco Grand Prix, and Princess Charlene brought out some fascinating modern diamond pieces for the race and the gala celebration.
Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene were joined by Michel Boeri, president of both the Automobile Club de Monaco and the FIA’s Senate, and Andrea Casiraghi to congratulate the winners of this year’s Grand Prix race. This year’s race was won by Kimi Antonelli, with Lewis Hamilton finishing second and Isack Hadjar coming in third.
For this year’s race, Charlene was elegant in a white jumpsuit from Louis Vuitton. Over on Instagram, The Royal Couturier explained that the outfit is “based on a design from the Nautical Collection.”
Charlene accessorized with diamond stud earrings, her diamond engagement ring, and an interesting necklace and bracelet from a favorite brand, Maison Tabbah.
Both the necklace and bracelet are made of yellow gold and set with diamonds. The pieces come from the brand’s Aquatica Collection. All of the pieces in the range are custom made. The undulating forms of the pieces certainly appear to be inspired by water and waves, but the shape is also a nice nod to the winding route of the Grand Prix.
On Sunday evening, Albert and Charlene were on hand for the Grand Prix gala. UFO No More tells us that Charlene opted for a tuxedo-inspired blouse and trousers for the event. The shirt, which is embellished with rhinestones, comes from Dolce & Gabbana.
Charlene added more sparkle with a pair of diamond earrings. These are the Icon 8 Pear Shape Diamond Earrings from Graff. The firm describes them: “A contemporary evolution of Graff’s legendary Icon motif, Icon 8 draws inspiration from the soft, beautifully feminine curves of a number eight – a symbol representing success, prosperity and good fortune.”
