The Prince and Princess of Monaco hopped over to Paris recently for a special sports-related gala, with Princess Charlene glittering in an embellished gown and major diamonds.

Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene of Monaco arrived at the Four Seasons Hotel George V on March 13 for the Provale Solidarité gala in support of the French national rugby union. Charlene’s brother, Gareth Wittstock, was also in attendance at the gala.

Princess Charlene has been the patron of Provale Solidarité since 2025. She delivered remarks in French during the charity gala, discussing her lifelong affection for the sport of rugby and her own athletic career. “Tonight we celebrate those who embody solidarity within the great rugby family,” she said. “My husband and I, former athletes ourselves, know how much sport shapes a life. Behind every career, there are years of commitment, sacrifice, and pushing beyond limits.”

Charlene wore a navy blue evening gown from Oscar de la Renta for the black-tie gala. The dress, per UFO No More, is “a canvas of radiance, its bodice scattered with mosaic crystal embroidery in mixed cuts that shimmer like constellations.”

The dress needed few additional accessories, but Charlene gamely wore a pair of impressive diamond stud earrings. The Royal Couturier writes on Instagram that the earrings come from Graff.

Charlene’s only other piece of jewelry for the gala was her diamond engagement ring. The jewel, which was made by Repossi, features a three-carat pear-shaped diamond as its centerpiece.
