The Dutch royal family headed to Zandvoort on Sunday for the annual Dutch Grand Prix, with Queen Máxima wearing an artistic pair of earrings that reflect the coming season.

King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands were joined by their three daughters, Princesses Amalia, Alexia, and Ariane, at Circuit Zandvoort for the annual Formula One racing event. Also present were several more members of the extended family, including the King’s aunt, Princess Margriet, and her eldest son, Prince Maurits of Orange-Nassau.

As Australia’s Oscar Piastri whizzed to victory for McLaren, Queen Máxima looked on wearing a neutral top and skirt with touches of autumnal orange. UFO No More shares that her skirt comes from the brand Zeus & Dione. (The site also chronicled many of the princesses’ fashion pieces and accessories from the occasion.)

Máxima carried the burnt orange color theme through to her accessories, including a pair of statement earrings from JAR, the famous Parisian brand established by American jewelry designer Joel Arthur Rosenthal and Pierre Jeannet.

Máxima owns several pieces of jewelry from JAR, including this pair of leafy earrings. UFO No More writes that the clip earrings, made out of yellow gold and aluminum, are meant to resemble geranium leaves in autumn colors.

We’ve seen Máxima wear the earrings before, notably during the state visit to South Africa in October 2023. She paired the leafy earrings with a spangly dress for a performance at the State Theatre in Pretoria during that trip.

Here’s another view of Máxima wearing the earrings as she and Princess Ariane took in the scenes at the Zandvoort Circuit. You’ll note that Ariane also wore a pair of leafy statement earrings for the event.

Queen Máxima finished off her jewelry look on Sunday with several stacked bracelets, including her diamond family initial bracelet and a bangle in the shape of an evil eye. But I was more intrigued by her sautoir-style necklace, with a white disc-shaped pendant with gold accents. If only the VIP badge had scooted out of the way to give us a better look!
