This weekend, the Royal Box at Wimbledon was the site of a pair of jewelry and fashion moments from the Princess of Wales, who handed out trophies to the champions of the gentlemen’s and ladies’ singles finals.

Princess Catherine has been the patron of the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club, the hosts of the annual tennis championships at Wimbledon, since 2016. She’s an annual attendee in the royal box, and in recent years she has also often presented trophies during the tournament. On Saturday, she stepped on to Centre Court to present the Venus Rosewater Dish to the ladies’ singles winner, Poland’s Iga Swiatek, and a silver plate to the runner-up, the American Amanda Anisimova.

For the ladies’ final, Princess Catherine wore a dress by Self-Portrait paired with her Cartier Trinity hoop earrings, which are made of yellow, white, and rose gold. We’ve seen Kate wear these on previous occasions, including a memorable appearance at the Royal Marsden Hospital in January.

Catherine kept the rest of her jewelry simple, wearing an aquamarine-tipped gold bangle from the brand Halcyon Days, a favorite of hers for Wimbledon appearances, her Cartier watch, and her stack of rings. Saturday’s outing marked the first time that Kate stacked her new sapphire and diamond eternity band with her famous sapphire cluster engagement ring. Perhaps the eternity band helps to keep the large sapphire ring more securely in place?

The Princess was back again in the royal box on Sunday to watch Jannik Sinner of Italy defeat Spain’s Carlos Alcaraz in the gentlemen’s singles final. Here, she presents the trophy to Sinner after the match.
Sunday was a family affair for Kate at Wimbledon. She was joined by her husband, the Prince of Wales, and their two eldest children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, in the royal box for the match. (Also seated nearby, supporting Alcaraz, was King Felipe VI of Spain.) The Waleses met with Sinner to congratulate him after the match.

For the gentlemen’s final, Kate wore a bright blue dress from Roksanda. (The green and purple ribbon she wore on each day is her AELTC badge.) For the second day running, she wore her Cartier Trinity earrings with her Wimbledon ensemble. Her necklace, though, was a new piece: a custom gold chain with a gold and diamond circle pendant from the British jewelry designer Daniella Draper.

Once again, she also stacked her diamond and sapphire eternity band with her iconic sapphire and diamond cluster engagement ring for Sunday’s appearance at Wimbledon. She certainly wouldn’t want the Big Blue Ring to wander off while shaking hands and presenting trophies!
