On Wednesday, the Queen of the Netherlands learned about training programs for future chefs and restauranteurs in Houten, wearing a pair of intriguing statement earrings for the visit.

Queen Máxima toured the facilities of SVO, a vocational education organization that trains students and professionals for careers in the food and restaurant industries, during a visit to Houten on Wednesday.

She even had a chance to suit up in a white jacket and purple hairnet during the visit as she watched students and teachers show off their skills in food preparation.

For the organizational tour, Máxima wore a new gray and golden olive ensemble from her go-to design house, Natan. (If you were curious about the maker of the outfit, the label inside the coat provided a helpful tip!) She also carried a coordinating handbag from Chanel for the outing.

With the outfit, Máxima wore a pair of earrings that have been in her personal collection for three years. These were made by Dublos, a high-end Spanish fashion jewelry brand based in Andalusia. The company’s collections include modern interpretations of traditional flamenco accessories.

Máxima has had this particular pair of floral earrings from the brand in her jewelry box since February 2022, when she debuted the earrings for a visit to De Blauwe Haven Rotterdam. She has worn the earrings on a handful of different occasions in the years since, including a prominent outing at the King’s Games in 2024.

Here’s a closer look at the earrings from last week’s visit to SVO. The fashion jewelry pieces are set with Swarovski crystals and gray pearls. Along with the pearl drops, the earrings also feature small pearls set in the center of each flower.

It wouldn’t be a Máxima outfit without bracelets, and she brought out two classics from her collection on Wednesday. On her right wrist, she wore her diamond wedding bracelet, and on her left, she stacked her cabochon family gemstone bracelet with a gold charm bracelet and her watch.
