Queen Margrethe II of Denmark is the granddaughter of King Gustaf VI Adolf and Crown Princess Margareta of Sweden, and her collection includes numerous jewels with Swedish royal provenance. The earrings, brooch, and pendant Margrethe wore for the gala were all Crown Princess Margareta’s wedding presents.
