The big royal week rolls on with Garter Day, the annual gathering of the knights and ladies of the Order of the Garter at Windsor Castle. Unfortunately, rain canceled the procession from the castle to St. George's Chapel, but we still got to see some glittering jewels on display.

The Queen wore one of the most magnificent pairs of earrings in her jewelry box: the Coronation Earrings, which were made for Queen Victoria in 1858. The pear-shaped diamond drops were a part of the Indian armlet setting of the Koh-i-Noor diamond.

The Duchess of Cornwall wore her diamond and pearl earrings, plus her pearl necklace with the round diamond clasp. You can also see the Duchess of Gloucester partly obscured behind Camilla...

...but here's a slightly better look at her jewels, including floral earrings, a gray pearl necklace, and intriguing diamond floral clips.

The Duchess of Cambridge wore a pair of earrings we haven't seen in public since her wedding day: her diamond scroll earrings with the acorn pendant drop.

She also wore the diamond cluster and baguette bracelet that we featured here yesterday...

...plus her Mappin and Webb Empress necklace (which means she's worn it three days in a row!).

The Countess of Wessex rounded out the Merry Wives of Windsor gathering. She wore her "pearl and diamond" earrings from Heavenly Necklaces (a pair also owned by Kate) with a sparkling bracelet.
