On Friday evening in Monaco, the Grimaldis were out and about at the annual Red Cross Gala. Here's a look at some of the jewels worn by Princess Charlene and the other guests!

Prince Albert II and Princess Charlene were the only two members of the princely family at this event, as per usual. The gala is an annual charity event that has been held in Monaco since 1948.

Charlene wore a summery green evening gown with a cape, a style that always looks elegant with her lovely broad shoulders.

She added a pair of eye-catching statement earrings to her ensemble.

Here's a good close-up of the earrings from Friday's gala. They are by Repossi, and they feature diamonds and pearls set in gold. There's also another smoky gemstone set in the stud portion of the earring.

Friday marked Charlene's second outing in the earrings. She wore them previously at the Golden Nymph Awards (the closing ceremony of the annual Monte-Carlo Television Festival) in June 2018.

For the Red Cross Gala, she kept the rest of her jewels to an absolute minimum, wearing only a slender golden band with a cross detail on her left hand.

There were a few other bejeweled guests of note, too. Appropriately, as Charlene wore Repossi jewels, Gio and Alberto Repossi were in attendance.

Dame Shirley Bassey was there, sparkling in a major suite of diamond and emerald jewels.

And there were more royal connections, too. Charles-Emmanuel of Bourbon-Parma attended the gala with his wife, Constance. He's the son of the late Prince Michel of Bourbon-Parma, who had a notable racing career. (That also means that Charles-Emmanuel is the grandson of Prince Rene of Bourbon-Parma and Princess Margaret of Denmark; his aunt was Queen Anne of Romania.) Constance wore an intriguing set of jewelry, which looks to be set with dark purple amethysts, for the gala on Friday.
