On Friday, King Felipe and Queen Letizia attended a memorial service for Alfredo Perez Rubalcaba, the former Socialist Party leader, in Madrid.

Letizia wore the same earrings on Saturday at the Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes in Granada, where she attended the Copa de la Reina de Futbol final.

On Monday, Letizia accompanied her husband for an act of commemoration at the Royal Palace in Madrid. The ceremony marked the 175th anniversary of the Civil Guards Foundation.

Letizia chose simple jewelry to accessorize her black and white dress for the occasion.

Her feather-shaped diamond earrings are the Plume de Chanel style from the firm's fine jewelry range. These are favorites of Letizia's, and she often chooses them for slightly more formal daytime events.

Letizia also wore the large gold circle ring that she's sported several times on recent occasions.

Queen Letizia wasn't the only member of the family out and about this weekend. Queen Sofia, wearing her usual golden jewelry, attended another ceremony honoring the late Alfredo Perez Rubalcaba in Madrid on Saturday.

Also on Saturday, she wore golden earrings as she and King Juan Carlos watched an ATP Madrid Open semi-final tennis match.

Another extended member of the family also made an appearance on Saturday. Queen Letizia's grandmother, Menchu Alvarez del Valle, received an award from the ICCICA Asociation in Aviles. Menchu is a radio journalist who is considered one of the most popular radio voices in all of the Asturias region. Her son, Jesus Jose, and her granddaughter, Letizia, both followed in her journalistic footsteps.

To receive the award, Menchu wore a lovely pearl brooch, pearl earrings, and a fascinating cocktail-sized ring.
