This Week in Nobel Gala Jewels: December 10-11

December 8-14, 2017

Time for one of my favorite posts of the year: the roundup of the best Nobel gala jewels of 2017! Good luck picking a favorite, and don't forget to vote in the poll below!

10. Crown Princess Mette-Marit of Norway (shown here with ICAN campaigner and Hiroshima survivor Setsuko Thurlow) wore one of her favorite pairs of statement earrings for the Nobel Peace Prize Concert on Monday.

9. Queen Sonja wore her emeralds for the official banquet following Sunday's Peace Prize presentation in Oslo.

8. On Monday, Princess Madeleine of Sweden wore her modern diamond fringe tiara with pearls for the annual King's Dinner. (More over here!)

7. Crown Princess Victoria wore the Boucheron Laurel Wreath Tiara with a necklace she's had for more than a decade at the King's Dinner. (More over here!)

1. My top vote of this glittering week goes to Princess Sofia, who showed off her reimagined wedding tiara with both its original emeralds and a new set of pearl toppers. Perfection! (More over here!)
