Royal Ascot Jewels 2015: Day 5

The umbrellas were out for the final day of this year's Royal Ascot, but there were still two royals (and one royal-adjacent) wearing a bit of sparkle.

The Queen was vibrant in orange for the last day of the races, pairing her usual pearl jewelry with a brooch that honors Scotland, where she will soon spend several weeks on holiday at Balmoral.

The brooch is the thistle brooch which makes up one part of a set of four brooches given to HM by the Sultan of Oman. The brooches feature the symbols of Scotland, England, Ireland, and Wales.

The other member of the Windsor clan at Ascot on Saturday was Lady Helen Taylor, daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Kent. She wore a golden necklace with a rather avant-garde chapeau.

Lady Helen also appears to be wearing a pair of trendy pearl stud earrings, with a larger pearl attached to the back of the stud.

To round out our roundup, here's an appearance by one of William and Harry's Spencer cousins: Lady Kitty Spencer, daughter of Earl Spencer. She wore small hoop earrings with round pendant stones -- possibly citrines or topazes?
