
With thousands more votes officially tallied, we have the results from round two of the Nobel Tiara Prize!

Last week’s first contest matched up two of Queen Silvia’s best Nobel looks. With 69.53% of the vote, Queen Silvia’s 2004 Nobel appearance in the Leuchtenberg Sapphires won the day, while Queen Silvia’s 2005 Nobel appearance in the Cameo Parure brought in 30.47% of your votes.

Princess Sofia’s versatile diamond palmette tiara was the star of her “region” of our contest, and last week’s contest matched up both of the blue settings of the jewel. While Princess Sofia’s 2022 Nobel appearance in the topaz setting garnered 42.59% of your votes, Princess Sofia’s 2019 Nobel appearance in the turquoise setting triumphed with 57.41% of the vote.

So the left side of our bracket comes down to two true blue tiaras: Queen Silvia’s 2004 Nobel appearance in the Leuchtenberg Sapphires and Princess Sofia’s 2019 Nobel appearance in diamonds and turquoises!

Last week’s Crown Princess Victoria tiara contest matched up two of her signature tiaras. Though Crown Princess Victoria’s 2005 Nobel appearance in the Baden Fringe Tiara and the Processional Necklace was selected by 46.02% voters, Crown Princess Victoria’s 2016 Nobel appearance in the Napoleonic Cut-Steel Tiara and the Cameos brought home a victory with 53.98% of the vote.

And finally, our round two competition was finished off by a match-up between two of Princess Madeleine’s most iconic tiara looks. No surprises here: Princess Madeleine’s 2015 Nobel appearance in the Swedish Aquamarine Kokoshnik won with a landslide 82.81% of the vote, while 17.19% voters preferred Princess Madeleine’s 2005 Nobel appearance in the Modern Fringe Tiara and the Connaught Diamond Drops.

Which sets up a final four match between Crown Princess Victoria’s 2016 Nobel appearance in the Napoleonic Cut-Steel Tiara and the Cameos and Princess Madeleine’s 2015 Nobel appearance in the Swedish Aquamarine Kokoshnik!
