How do you celebrate the King of Sweden’s upcoming Golden Jubilee? Here at The Court Jeweller, there’s only one answer: a tiara tournament! And it’s a special one, dedicated to Sweden’s most iconic annual jewelry moment: the tiaras worn for the Nobel Prize ceremony.

Every year on December 10, the Swedish royal family gathers in Stockholm for a grand celebration honoring the year’s Nobel Prize laureates. The ceremony and banquet are white-tie and tiara affairs, with the women of the family wearing some of their very grandest gowns and jewels.

My bejeweled selections for Crown Princess Victoria’s best Nobel looks are:

I’ve selected these four outstanding jewelry looks for Princess Madeleine:

And for Princess Sofia, we’ll be considering four versions of her palmette tiara:
- The emerald setting in 2015
- The pearl setting in 2018
- The turquoise setting in 2019
- The topaz setting in 2022

Here’s a look at the bracket for the Nobel Tiara Prize. We’ll be voting twice a day this week, so be sure to check back morning and afternoon to get your votes in!
