It’s time for our final necklace contest of round two!

Camilla’s Turquoise Necklace vs. The Wessex Aquamarine Necklace

Though the Duchess of Cornwall has added many royal pieces to her jewelry collection over the last decade and a half, some of her jewels have come to her through her own aristocratic family connections. Among them is this suite of jewels, a distinctive set of turquoise and diamond jewels includes an elaborate necklace and a coordinating pair of earrings. The necklace features diamond and turquoise clusters and pendants interspersed with diamond fringe sections. She’s been wearing the demi-parure in public for almost two decades.

The Wessex Aquamarine Necklace
The Countess of Wessex debuted this dazzling diamond and aquamarine jewel in November 2005 during the enthronement festivities for Prince Albert II of Monaco. The versatile modern piece can be worn as either a tiara or a necklace, and its green-blue aquamarine coordinates beautifully with several other jewels from Sophie’s collection. As a necklace, the sharp scrolling diamond designs of the piece are especially eye-catching, and the deep sea-green color of the aquamarine stands out dramatically.
