The results are in from this week’s royal necklace contests!
Two magnificent nineteenth-century necklaces faced off in this round. Queen Alexandra’s Wedding Necklace took the crown, bringing in 74.15% of the vote, while Queen Victoria’s Golden Jubilee Necklace was chosen by 25.85% of voters.
Antique and modern met up in this pearly contest! The Hanoverian Pearls won the day with 66.66% of the vote, while 33.34% of voters preferred the Qatari Pearl Necklace.
Would it be the topaz or the diamonds? Camilla’s Pink Topaz & Pearl Choker won this contest handily, bringing in 67.62%, while the Japanese Pearl Choker Necklace was chosen by 32.38% of voters.
This contest came right down to the wire! Camilla’s Aquamarine & Pearl Choker squeaked out a victory with 51.16% of the vote, while Marie Feodorovna’s Pearl & Sapphire Choker made an impressive showing with 48.84% of the vote. (Fewer than 100 votes separated the two choices!)
