9. The Princess Royal is on an official visit to China this week; she wore golden jewels, including an equine brooch, during a visit to the Forbidden City in Beijing on Tuesday.

8. In Norway, Princess Martha Louise wore a dramatic pair of double hoop earrings to celebrate her mother’s 80th birthday on Tuesday.

7. The birthday girl herself, Queen Sonja of Norway, wore blue jewelry — including a dragonfly brooch — for her 80th birthday celebrations in Oslo.

6. Queen Letizia of Spain was radiant in moonstone earrings by Tous for audiences at the Zarzuela Palace in Madrid on Wednesday.

5. In Oostende, Queen Mathilde of the Belgians wore pearl drop earrings with a geometric stud during a visit to the Mercator sailing ship on Saturday.
