The earrings have been in Queen Noor's jewelry box for at least a decade. They feature a trio of diamonds clustered together in the stud portion, from which is suspended several colorful gems in shades of green and blue, including a larger pear-shaped stone. The earrings are set in yellow gold.

Queen Noor has made several prominent appearances in the earrings. In April 2010, she wore them with a large emerald ring for a press conference to discuss a new nuclear reduction treaty signed by the United States and Russia.

She also wore a bracelet set with pearl, gold, and turquoise beads for the news conference, which was held in Washington, D.C.

A few weeks later, she wore the earrings at the Cannes Film Festival, where she helped to promote the documentary film Countdown To Zero.

Another significant appearance in the earrings came in October 2013, when she paired them with a favorite necklace to speak at the International Commission on Missing Persons in The Hague. The dainty profile of the earrings, and the various shades of colorful gems included in the setting, make them the perfect accessories for a range of outfits and occasions.
