On Saturday evening, the senior members of the British royal family gathered at the Royal Albert Hall in London for the Royal British Legion's annual Festival of Remembrance. This year, the event was even more special than usual, as it commemorated the end of World War I a century ago.

All of the women of the royal family wore jewels suitable for an occasion of memorial and remembrance. The Queen wore the pearl and diamond cluster earrings from Queen Alexandra's Wedding Gift Parure, pairing them with a double strand of pearls. She used Queen Mary's Richmond Brooch, the same one she wore to the Sussex wedding this May, to secure her poppies.

The Duchess of Cornwall wore her favorite pearl drop earrings, her diamond tennis bracelet, and a poppy brooch.

Pearl cluster earrings were the Duchess of Cambridge's most prominent accessory. You'll also spot the Diamond and Pearl Leaf Brooch (on loan to Kate from the Queen) being used to secure her poppies.

The Duchess of Sussex stayed true to her minimalist jewelry roots with a pair of simple climber-style earrings.

She also wore a poppy pin on her jacket.

The Countess of Wessex wore earrings with luminous yellow-orange studs and drops, as well as a poppy brooch and the cap badge of the Queen Alexandra's Royal Army Nursing Corps (Sophie is their Colonel-in-Chief).
