As per usual, the Queen chose the Braemar Feather Brooch for her appearance at the Games. You can learn more about the brooch over here.

The Queen was accompanied to the games by the Duke of Rothesay (as the Prince of Wales is known in Scotland), the Princess Royal, and Sir Tim Laurence.

Princess Anne chose one of her golden floral brooches for the Games, pairing it with pearl earrings.

The Queen and Anne both wore feather embellishments on their hats, which nicely coordinated with HM's brooch.

This year, the Queen also officially opened the Duke of Rothesay Highland Games Pavilion at Braemar.

The new pavilion features exhibitions about Highland Games and Braemar in particular, which is the most famous Highland Games gathering in the world.
