10. On Wednesday, Princess Astrid of Belgium wore a simple, classic pair of diamond and pearl earrings to commemorate the Battle of Messines Ridge in Wijtschate.

9. Princess Mako of Akishino's visit to Bhutan continued this week; she wore small, clip-on pearl drop earrings with a single-stranded pearl necklace at the Clock Tower in Thimpu on Friday.

8. Princess Mako wore the same pearl earrings with a longer pearl necklace on Saturday at the Changlingmethang National Archery ground in Thimphu.

7. During a visit to TOBROCO Machines in Oisterwijk on Thursday, Queen Maxima of the Netherlands wore bright pink and orange earrings with a pared-down version of her bracelet stack (just the diamond initial bracelet and the cabochon gemstone bracelet).

6. Sweden celebrated its National Day on Tuesday, and Queen Silvia wore a pair of pearl button earrings with her national costume during the celebrations in Stockholm.

4. On Thursday, Infanta Elena of Spain wore several pieces of jewelry, including pearl earrings, pearl necklaces, a pearl cuff bracelet, and a cocktail ring, to deliver the Patrimonio Nacional Painting's Contest for Children awards at the Royal Palace in Madrid.

3. The Duchess of Cornwall wore two classic pieces from her jewelry box -- her pearl and diamond earrings and her pearl choker necklace with the round diamond clasp -- to meet with members of the emergency services who were on duty during the recent terror attacks in London.
